The former Millers fitness coach plans to test the players mentally as much as physically in his first pre-season as manager.

New faces Michael Ihiekwe, Darren Potter, Ryan Williams, David Ball and Jamie Proctor joined up with their new team-mates as the countdown to Saturday's annual friendly against Parkgate (2pm) began.

Former defender Frazer Richardson is currently training with the Millers in a bid to keep himself fit.
