THE Rotherham United squad returned to pre-season training expecting to be put through the wringer by manager Paul Warne.

The former Millers fitness coach plans to test the players mentally as much as physically in his first pre-season as manager.

New faces Michael Ihiekwe, Darren Potter, Ryan Williams, David Ball and Jamie Proctor joined up with their new team-mates as the countdown to Saturday's annual friendly against Parkgate (2pm) began.

Former defender Frazer Richardson is currently training with the Millers in a bid to keep himself fit.
