TV GARDENER Christine Walkden, of BBC’s The One Show, helped gardeners nurture the seeds of their passion at Rotherham’s Garden-Lovers’ Fayre.

The event centred on All Saints’ Square on Saturday and saw the vegetation veteran presenting two talks with question and answer sessions afterwards.

Floral designer Jonathan Moseley presented seminars on flower arranging, as seen on BBC’s The Big Allotment Challenge, and street performers Bob and Tom, the Strolling Gardeners, entertained shoppers.

Children’s entertainer Professor Dan performed balloon magic and there was craft-making and free face painting.
