Green-fingered residents including Ann Cox (pictured) opened their gates to visitors for the annual Thorpe Salvin Garden Trail 2017.171227-3

AWARD-winning gardens threw open their gates for visitors.

The popular Thorpe Salvin Garden Trail on Saturday and Sunday raised funds for the village’s St Peter’s Church.

“The Garden Trail is the result of a huge year round effort on the part of many volunteers,” said Jonathan Cobb, chairman of Thorpe in Bloom.

“It’s always a delight to be able to swap garden tips with those who share our interests.”
