RMBC events team recently held an Animal Magic day in All Saints Square, with animals to pet and stroke, along with donkey rides and bucking bronco sheep. Seen having a donkey ride are sisters Daisy (10) and Molly Garbett (8). 171316-11

A BUCKING-bronco sheep, donkey rides and alpacas were among the attractions at the Animal Magic event in Rotherham town centre.

Therapy dogs, snakes and a giant snakes and ladders game were also part of the fun.

Cllr Denise Lelliott, Rotherham Borough Council’s Cabinet member for jobs and the economy, said: “This year’s Animal Magic event was very popular.

“We were pleased to see so many families and children visiting the town centre and having a brilliant time at our animal themed event.

“There was a petting farm, reptiles from Nature Safari and a variety of animal charity stalls, not forgetting the Shaun Sheep Rodeo ride.

“The Animal Magic day proved to be really popular again this year and we hope to bring it back next year.”
