Pensioners' group to hold general election hustings event
Voters will go to the polls on Thursday, June 8

SIX parties have been invited to a general election hustings hosted by Rotherham Pensioners Action Group.

Voters will have the chance to put questions to candidates at youth centre myplace, St Ann’s, on June 6, from 10am to 11.30am.

Group chairman Keith Billington said: “As there are so many issues which will affect the older generation, it will be a great opportunity to get answers to those important questions.”

Representatives from Labour, the Conservatives, UKIP, the Lib Dems, the Greens and the Yorkshire Party have been invited.
