Pedestrian suffers head injuries in Dinnington collision

A WOMAN suffered head injuries in a collision with a car in Dinnington this afternoon (Friday).

The collision happened at around 1pm on Swinston Hill Road, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.

A 54-year-old woman suffered head injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening, she added.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance confirmed it had attended the incident but did not fly the patient to hospital.

Anyone with any information about the collision should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 385 of March 1.
