Passenger injured by bottle thrown on train to Rotherham

A PASSENGER was treated in hospital after being hit in the head with a bottle thrown on a train between Sheffield and Rotherham.

British Transport Police said he suffered a nasty cut on the Northern service at 11.40pm on September 24.

A 25-year-old man from Doncaster has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of GBH.
