Pan left unattended causes fire in East Herringthorpe
A PAN left on a hob caused a kitchen fire in East Herringthorpe last night (Thursday).
A crew from Rotherham fire station was called out to a property on Laudsdale Road at 7.45pm.
The small kitchen fire was caused by a pan being accidentally left on the hob, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"Thankfully no-one was injured in the incident," she added.
The fire crew left the scene at 8.25pm.
