Pan left unattended causes fire in East Dene
A PAN left on a cooker accidentally caused a fire in East Dene on Saturday morning (July 6).
A crew from Rotherham station was called to St John's Road at 7.10am.
A man believed to be in his 20s was led out of the property by the fire crew and treated for smoke inhalation, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
The cause of the fire was found to be accidental.
