Pallet blaze in Maltby among three overnight arson attacks

PALLETS were deliberately set alight in Maltby last night in one of three overnight arson attacks.

Firefighters from Maltby station were called to the deliberate fire on Thicket Drive at 7.25pm.

They left the scene at 7.55pm, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

A crew from Rotherham station was called to Wagon Road, Greasbrough, at 9.15pm, where a car had been deliberately set alight, the spokesperson added.

The crew left the scene at 9.45pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were also called to a deliberate rubbish fire on Masbrough Street, Masbrough, at 12.55am today and spent 15 minutes dealing with the blaze.
