Pair sought after East Dene bank card fraud

A police spokeswoman said: “It is reported that two men entered the post office on Far Lane and engaged the woman working there in conversation.

“One man is said to have requested a bank transfer from a bank card to another unauthorised account, while the other distracted her, resulting in the transfer being made and thousands of pounds unknowingly being withdrawn and transferred.”

The suspects arrived in a white Ford Focus on Saturday, July 13, the spokeswoman added.
