Overnight break-ins at churches in Tickhill

A CHURCH will be closed to the public outside of services until further notice after an intruder smashed their way in and rifled through its office.

The intruder broke into St Mary's Church, Tickhill, and broke a window overnight on Saturday, a police spokeswoman said.

Police believe that a short time later, a door was forced open at Tickhill Methodist Church on Northgate.
