One-year ban for Parkway drug driver
AN UNINSURED drug driver stopped on a major road has been banned from the roads for a year.
Richard Cartwright (48), Moorgate Grove, was fined £320 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 victim surcharge when he appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
Cartwright was stopped on the Sheffield Parkway on October 25 and failed a drug test for cannabis chemicals.
The court also heard he had no insurance for the Vauxhall Vectra he was driving.
