One Direction star set to kick off against Millers

ONE Direction star Louis Tomlinson is expected to make his professional football debut against Rotherham United tonight to help raise cash for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The singer will be in the squad for Doncaster Rovers development side’s match against a Millers XI at 7pm.

It is understood that several senior Millers players may be in the squad for this evening’s game.

The 22-year-old Rovers fan signed a non-contract deal with the Championship club last year and could make an appearance in front of an expected 4,000-plus crowd at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The hospice tweeted him a goodwill message this morning ahead of the game, saying: “Good luck @Louis_Tomlinson in your debut game for @drfc_official raising funds for us at Bluebell Wood. Thank you so much!”

Hospice staff will be selling special Louis goody bags at the match, with the proceeds going to Bluebell Wood.
