AN ELDERLY woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being seriously hurt in a collision with a car in Greasbrough.

The 75-year-old pensioner sustained potentially life-threatening injuries in an incident on Main Street at 1.40pm yesterday.

The driver of the car, a green Peugeot 206, was arrested for driving without due care and attention and has been bailed, police said.
