"Normal rail service" resumes through Conisbrough
RAIL services have returned to normal following a fire near the railway lines in Conisbrough.
Buses replaced trains in both directions between Sheffield, Swinton and Doncaster yesterday (Monday) while engineers carried out emergency repairs.
But a Northern Rail spokesman said “a normal service had resumed between Doncaster and Sheffield” this morning (Tuesday).
