The Millers boss already has Michael Smith, Kyle Vassell and Freddie Ladapo fighting for two places up front and sees no need to recruit a fourth forward before tonight’s 11pm cut-off point.

“I haven't got a striker coming in,” he said. “I'm really pleased with the three I've got.

“If we were really unlucky and two of them got injured I could play Matt Crooks as a '10', which I've done many times before. I could also play Haks (Hakeeb Adelakun) as a '10'.”

At the moment, Smith and Vassell are the chosen pairing even though Ladapo is the club's top scorer with 12 goals.

Smith is on ten while Vassell, after being injured earlier in the campaign, has struck five times in his last six matches and has six for the season.

“Bringing in a new striker isn't a concern of mine,” Warne added. “The three I already have are more than competitive.

“I don't have room for another ego up top! Those three can battle it out.”
