No deaths and slight drop in Covid patient numbers at Rotherham Hospital
THERE have been no Covid-linked deaths at Rotherham Hospital in the past week and the number of Covid-19 positive in-patients has fallen again.
As of this morning, there were no inpatients being treated with the virus in critical care, while the total number of inpatients who had tested positive fell from 18 to 16.
However, the total number of inpatients who have tested positive since at the hospital since the start of the pandemic has now passed 5,000 and reached 5,024.
So far, 85.5 per cent of the population in Rotherham aged over 12 have had their first dose of the vaccine, 81.8 per cent have had their second and 65.5 per cent have received a booster jab.
