Anston Greenlands Primary separated into classroom bubbles for the do-it-yourself fundraiser, which has replaced the charity’s big Colour Dash event this year.

Mum Chellsea Brown, whose little boy Sonny (4) took part, said: “He had a great time helping to raise money for a charity we’re very fond of.

“Sonny has cerebral palsy and I honestly got a little bit emotional watching him joining in, laughing and smiling, and having so much fun with his friends.

“Yet again, he didn’t let cerebral palsy stop him getting stuck in. A huge well done everyone who took part. It looked like so much fun.”

Headteacher Alex Wirth said: “Bluebell Wood is a brilliant local charity and taking part in their Colour Throw was such a fun way to show our support and help raise funds.

“Thank you very much to Bluebell Wood for the opportunity and to all the children, school staff and parents and carers for making it such a success.”
