New York Stadium’s blue salute
THE home of the red and white army turned blue in tribute to hard-working NHS staff.
The New York Stadium, along with the region’s other top football grounds, was lit up blue with the NHS logo projected on to it.
The tribute - backing the #clapforkeyworkers campaign - was made possible by PA Entertainments run by Adam Nicholson, of Manvers, and Phil Cooper, of Brampton Bierlow.
The pair recently turned Grade-I listed stately home Wentworth Woodhouse blue for the same cause.
