New Year's Day early morning arson attacks on vehicles
TWO vehicles were deliberately torched in the early hours of yesterday morning within minutes of each other.
A crew from Aston station attended Aughton Road at 2.55pm where a Vaxuhall Astra had been set alight. Firefighters were at the scene for 20 minutes.
A van was then set on fire at 3am at Ryeview Gardens, Munsbrough. Crews from Rotherham and Birley Moor stations were at the scene for an hour.
