New medical director at Rotherham Hospital
ROTHERHAM Hospital’s new medical director has taken up his new post after heading home from Down Under.
Dr Conrad Wareham is due to take up his new post later this month after ten years in senior roles in Australia, including Executive Director for Medical Services.
He trained in the UK and specialises in anaesthesia and critical care.
Dr Wareham said: “The decade I have spent in Australia has been a tremendous professional and personal opportunity.
“I am very excited about my new role in Rotherham and look forward to putting my experience and skills to good use back at home.”
Hospital trust chairman Martin Havenhand said: “This is a key appointment to the Board and I confident we have secured an excellent addition to the team who will engage internally and externally to define and deliver our strategy.”
