New homes could replace Rotherham area pub

PLANS to replace a derelict Thurcroft pub with homes have been submitted to Rotherham Borough Council by RJR Developments.

The firm wants to build eight three-bedroomed homes on site of the Ivanhoe at Ulrica Drive.

The pub, which was built in 1970, has been closed for two years.

A decision on the plan is expected to be made next month.
