Neighbours evacuated after bungalow blaze

NEIGHBOURS were evacuated after a fire in a bungalow in Swinton.

Firefighters were called to a terraced property in Haythorne Way at 2.20pm on Thursday.

A fire service spokeswoman said neighbouring bungalows had been affected after the fire spread through roof voids.

The cause of the blaze was still under investigation on Friday morning.
