NCA: Masbrough men arrested over historic rape allegation

​​​​​​​TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of historical sex offences as part of the National Crime Agency’s investigation into child abuse in Rotherham.

TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of historical sex offences as part of the National Crime Agency’s investigation into child abuse in Rotherham.

The Masbrough men, aged 37 and 34, were arrested on Tuesday (February 5) on suspicion of rape and sexual assault as part of Operation Stovewood.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 1997 and 2003.

Both men have been released under investigation. 

There are currently 22 separate investigations under the Stovewood umbrella.
