Murder trial jury dismissed
THE jury trying knife attacker Danny Parr have yet to return a verdict after 10 hours of deliberation.
Judge Mr Justice Foskett dismissed jurors from Sheffield Crown Court until Monday morning after they failed to reach a unanimous verdict by Friday afternoon.
Parr (20) of Broom Close, Bramley, is accused of murdering 19-year-old Jamie Stuart by stabbing him in the back, legs and heart last July.
While he admits to the attack, Parr denies that he meant to cause Mr Stuart “serious harm.”
