A MURDER probe has been launched today after police found a woman’s body in a Swinton flat.
She was discovered by officers shortly after 7.30pm yesterday,Thursday (28), following concerns that she had not been seen for some time.
The woman, who has not yet been named, was found at Horsefair Close on Temperance Street.
Investigations started this morning (Friday) with officers carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
A postmortem was due to take place later today.
