Multiple fires across Rotherham overnight
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to multiple fires across Rotherham during the night.
A crew from Birley Moor station was called out to an accidental fire involving conifers on Cranworth Road, East Dene, at 7.45pm. They left the scene after 35 minutes.
At 8.30pm, two crews from Maltby and Aston stations attended a wood fire on Muglet Lane, Maltby, Rotherham , and came away just after midnight.

Hide AdRotherham firefighters were dispatched to a blaze involving rubbish and a suitcase on Percy Street at 10.28pm and were on scene for less than 10 minutes.
A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fires in Maltby and Rotherham were believed to be deliberate.
