Badsley Primary School pupil Liam (7) never recovered from a fit which lasted two hours and died on November 24.

Aspiring YouTuber Liam, of North Road, East Dene, was described by headteacher Mark Windle as a kind, thoughtful, little boy who always had a smile on his face and was a “real joy” to have in school.

His funeral will take place tomorrow (Thursday, December 19), and his family have asked those attending to wear something green.

The funeral cortege will depart from North Road at 8.15am, before pausing outside his school’s Badsley Moor Lane entrance at 8.30am, and then travel to the Tennyson Road side of the school, again pausing to allow mourners to pay their respects.

It will then head to Rotherham Crematorium in East Herringthorpe for a 9am service.
