The truck — capable of dealing with two tonnes of paper an hour — was sited outside Rotherham’s New York Stadium on Thursday as part of the Chamber Means Business exhibition staged by Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.

The initiative comes in the wake of news that 11,130 cases of identity fraud were reported across Yorkshire and the Humber in 2016.
