Motorists warned of roadworks beginning on Monday

MOTORISTS are being warned of disruption from Monday when roadworks begin in Dinnington.

Lidgett Lane, New Road and sections of Laughton Road will be affected and diversions put in place.

Colin Knight, Rotherham Borough Council’s head of highways, said: “We apologise for any disruption experienced by local residents and businesses.

“However this work is essential to improve the roads in the area, and we hope people will appreciate the benefits once it is completed.

“We aim to keep residents and businesses informed and if anyone has any questions, staff on site will be happy to talk through any concerns.”
