Motorists warned of M1 roadworks

MOTORISTS are being warned of roadworks around the Tinsley viaduct over the next two nights.

The Highways Agency said the northbound entry slip road at junction 34 of the M1 would be closed tonight (Monday) and the southbound entry slip road overnight tomorrow (Tuesday).

The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow diversion routes.

A Highways Agency spokesman said the works “could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances”.

He added: “All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.”
