Moore makes it six summer signings for Millers

ROTHERHAM United’s season-long loan signing of Ipswich Town striker Kieffer Moore has finally been completed.

After weeks of speculation surrounding the move, the 6ft 5in frontman travelled with the rest of the first team for the pre-season training camp in Austria.

Moore scored seven goals in 17 starts and 16 substitute appearances for Forest Green in the National League. Last November he re-joined divisional rivals Torquay on a 28-day loan deal and scored five goals in four appearances.

Championship club Ipswich forked out a reported £10,000 for his services last January but Moore failed to find the back of the net in 11 substitute appearances.

The former Dorchester and Yeovil forward - who was thought to be interesting third tier Plymouth Argyle -  becomes boss Paul Warne’s sixth summer signing as he plots his assault on League One.

Twenty-four-year-old Moore could be joined by fellow Tractor Boy Joshua Emmanuel who is also expected to make a season-long switch to the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
