Mobility scooter deliberately set alight in Aston

A MOBILITY scooter and three vehicles were deliberately set alight over the bank holiday weekend.

Firefighters were called to the scooter on Aughton Lane at Aston at 11.40pm on Friday.

A Honda estate car was set alight at Wood Lane in Brinsworth at 8.10pm that evening.

Crews were called to a Vauxhall Zafira on fire at Ramper Road in Carr at 7.50pm on Saturday.

An unidentified vehicle blaze on Grange Street in Thurnscoe was dealt with at about 12.50am on Tuesday.

Firefighters also dealt with a grass embankment fire on Hollings Lane in Thrybergh at about 8pm on Monday.
