Minibus torched at school in Wombwell

A MINIBUS was deliberately set alight at a school in Wombwell.

Firefighters were called to Netherwood Academy on Dove Valley Way at 10pm last night (Sunday) and tackled the fire for 45 minutes, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

The fire was started deliberately, she added.

The school has been contacted for further comment.
