Millmoor set to continue as train storage site: CF Booth submits plans for three-year extension

Scrap metal firm CF Booth has applied to use the stadium land for the purpose for another three years.

A previous temporary change of use application was approved by Rotherham Council in 2019.

The use of Millers’ former home for storing rail cars dates back more than ten years, when Booth’s won a contract to dismantle London tube trains being removed as part of a refresh to the Victoria line before the 2012 Olympics.
