Millers one step away from Wembley

ROTHERHAM United are just 90 minutes away from Wembley - with the countdown under way to Wednesday’s make-or-break play-off semi final second leg.

The Millers face Aldershot Town at Don Valley on Wednesday night with a 1-0 advantage after Le Fondre’s second half strike at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.

But boss Ronnie Moore is warning his side - and the fans - not to take anything for granted.

“No-one is getting over-excited,” said Moore. “We are only half way there yet and there is still a lot of work to be done.

“But I’m delighted with the result at Aldershot. It looked as though it was going to be 0-0 until Alfie struck.”

Moore will now look to plot the right result at Don Valley, when Rotherham’s biggest crowd of the season is expected. The prize for the victors is a place in the final at Wembley a week on Sunday.

The Millers fans were also magnificent in Hampshire...as out picture of one group of supporters shows. If you were there or if you’re heading to Don Valley on Wednesday, send us your photos to [email protected] or upload them via our website.
