ROTHERHAM United expect to confirm the signing of midfielder Gary Roberts today.
The 22-year-old, released by Yeovil in the summer, has been training with the Millers and had an encouraging run-out for the reserves next week.
The gifted play-maker is trying to get his career back on the rails after a raft of personal problems and team boss Ronnie Moore believes he can bring an extra dimension to the side.
Said Moore: "We have not got a player who can retain the ball and Gary Roberts is that type of player.
"He's got a super range of passes and I think (top scorer) Adam Le Fondre will benefit."
Roberts is expected to sign a deal until the end of the season.
