Mexborough pub's pride at £600 raised for Macmillan

A PUB’S fundraising champion has developed such a passion for supporting a cancer charity she is giving up the booze to help the good cause.

Andrea Oliver, one of the organisers of the month-long drive to collect cash for Macmillan Cancer Support, has gone sober for October to bring in even more money.

The Montagu Arms at Mexborough has raised £600, the proceeds of various recent fundraising events, for Macmillan.
