Mexborough murderers given 27-year sentences

THE two murderers of a man gunned down on a Mexborough street have been handed sentences of a minimum of 27 years behind bars.

Taylor Meanley (17), of Beech Crescent, Mexborough, who can now be named after restrictions were lifted, and Jack Parkes (21), of Arnold Crescent, Mexborough, were given 27-year sentences for murdering 20-year-

Arlind Nika (16), of Spelman Street in London, who can also now be identified, and Joe Anderton (18), of Jubilee Road, Wheatley in Doncaster, were sentenced to concurrent 12 years detention for the manslaughter of Mr Williams and possession of a firearm to endanger life.
