THREE men were left with burns to their faces and arms after a car exploded in Thurcroft. A gas canister in the Ford car is believed to have exploded when one of the occupants lit a cigarette at around in Sycamore Avenue at 10.30pm on Thursday.
Two men in their 20s and one in his 30s were treated for burns at the scene by firefighters from Maltby.
The three were all taken to Rotherham General Hospital with burns to their faces, arms and chests.
