Men bailed by child abuse investigators

TWO men arrested in Bradford as part of an investigation into child sex abuse in Rotherham have been bailed.

The pair were arrested at separate addresses yesterday by investigators from the National Crime Agency as part of the ongoing Operation Stovewood – which is exploring non-familial abuse between 1997 and 2003.

The NCA said the offences are believed to have involved two girls aged 16 and 17.

The men were held on suspicion of trafficking girls for sexual exploitation and have been bailed until December.

Nine arrests have now been made as part of the ongoing operation.
