Mayor's hospital visit to support No Smoking Day

ROTHERHAM’S Mayor will lend support to smokers wanting to kick the habit—like he did.

Ex-smoker Cllr Shaun Wright will visit Rotherham Hospital to mark No Smoking Day on Wednesday (14).

Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust has invited the public to the Stop Smoking Service in the main entrance, where help and advice on quitting will be available.

A spokeswoman said: “The theme of this year’s event is Take the Leap and the we would like to encourage as many smokers as possible to make an attempt to quit together on the day.”
