Mattress torched in Moorgate overnight
A MATTRESS was deliberately torched in Moorgate last night.
Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Alma Road, at 9.26pm.
The crew found a mattress alight on some waste land, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
''This was dealt with by 9.40pm and is thought to have been started deliberately,'' added the spokeswoman.
