AN ECO-friendly care home is set to open in Rotherham tormorrow and residents are being invited to have a look around.
The Rother View supported living home, for people with learning difficulties, will have space for nine people aged between 18 to 65.
Based on Brown Street at Masbrough, the home will be powered in full by solar energy and feature low level lighting with fully insulated walls and ceilings.
The open day will take place tomorrow from 10am until 1pm with an official ribbon cutting at noon.
Cllr Jahangir Akhtar said: “This will be an excellent facility within my ward.”
