Forever Sewing had enjoyed a close relationship with the Mummy Diaries TV star — providing her with clothes which helped showcase the growing brand.

But the Manvers-based company — run by husband-and-wife team Adam and Laura Newman — reacted angrily to the similarities in Sam’s new line.

A post on their Facebook page said: “Absolutely devastated would be an understatement.

“She doesn’t have enough money in the bank, she has to potentially jeopardise our small family run company that we have worked all hours building.

“Also keeping us sweet by talking collaborations with us because she knew our brand was strong.”

Some fans said they would boycott Sam’s TV show and clothing as the betrayal row continued online.

Sam (27) posted: “I always try and support small businesses where possible and tag brands who so kindly send things to myself and my family.

“Over the past couple of years, I’ve provided tens of thousands of pounds of free publicity to the brand and secured media coverage for them.

“I’m not ripping off anyone’s designs, if you search the internet you will see loads of similar brands selling similar products.”

And her spokesman told MailOnline: “Several months ago, Samantha contacted the brand owners to let them know out of courtesy she was launching her own personalised children’s range. They thanked her for letting them know.”
