Man treated at scene of Clifton house fire

A MAN was treated by paramedics after a house fire in Clifton yesterday evening (Sunday).

Three fire engines attended the incident, which was in a bedroom at Clifton Bank.

Crews from Rotherham, Parkway and Aston stations were there for about 90 minutes from shortly after 7pm.

The man received medical attention for the effects of breathing smoke.

A fire service spokesman confirmed the blaze was accidental.
