A MAN who reportedly stole a wallet then acted aggressively at Rotherham Central station is being hunted by British Transport Police.

The man is reported to have stolen a wallet and, after being challenged, he became aggressive and began swinging a heavy dog chain at the wallet owner and a member of rail staff.

“Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation,” said a BTP spokesman.

The incident happened at 5.20pm on Monday, October 14.
