Man spotted with crack pipe in car

A DRIVER spotted smoking a crack pipe in his car will appear in court next month.

A DRIVER spotted apparently smoking a crack pipe in his car will appear in court next month.

The 38-year-old Greasbrough man was seen by officers from the Rotherham Central Neighbourhood Policing Team on Monday afternoon.

He was arrested and detained for a blood sample to be taken, but refused to co-operate, a police spokesman said.

Further enquiries found that he also had no car insurance.

The man is due to will appear before Sheffield Magistrates in January to face charges of driving without insurance and failing to provide a blood sample.
