Man sought by police after woman attacked in Parkgate

She was discovered by a traffic officer on the corner of Lloyd Street and Broad Street at 9.30pm on Sunday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “It is believed the woman sustained the injuries following an assault at a property on Lloyd Street. 

“Officers attended the property and another woman was found with minor injuries. Both the women were taken to hospital by officers.

“The suspect left the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate him.”

Officers attended Duncan Street, Brinsworth, later that night as part of enquiries into the incident.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch. They are particularly keen to hear from anybody who has CCTV or dashcam footage if they were in the area at the time.
